Die von Ramana Maharshi angeregte Selbsterforschung ist eine Erinnerung daran, dorthin zu gehen, wo die Gedanken entstehen.
Wenn ein Gedanke auftaucht z.B. „Mittagszeit“ – „Wann ist das Mittagessen?“ Sobald dieser Gedanke auftaucht, anstatt nach ihm zu greifen, fragst du dich: „Bei wem ist dieser Gedanken entstanden?“
Dieser Gedanke an das Mittagessen. „Bei wem ist er aufgekommen?“ Du erh\u00e4ltst sofort die Antwort „bei mir“. Weil du dich vollst\u00e4ndig mit dem „mir“ identifizierst. Dieser Gedanke kam zu \u201emir\u201c. Und dann stellst du eine zweite Frage: „Wer ist dieses Ich?“<\/p>

Du denkst, du wei\u00dft es, aber du wei\u00dft es nicht. Die zweite Frage hat keine sprachliche Antwort. Du k\u00f6nntest sagen: „Ich bin Bewusstsein.“ Nun, das beantwortet diese Frage nicht wirklich.
<\/span> Also kommst du immer mehr zur Stille, du f\u00e4llst in die Stille. Du f\u00e4llst in die Leere. Das ist die Selbsterforschung, es ist sehr einfach. In einem Selbsterforschungs-Workshop sitzen wir zusammen und fragen uns gegenseitig liebevoll: „Wer bist du?“
Wenn wir diese \u00dcbung \u00fcber einige Stunden hinweg machen, stellen wir fest, dass alle Antworten, die wir auf diese Frage geben, nicht das beschreiben, was wir wirklich sind. Nach einiger Zeit fallen wir tiefer in uns hinein und suchen nach dem, was die Frage in uns offenbaren kann.
