Viele Jahre lang wusste ich bereits von Francis, als ich von einem Retreat erfuhr, das er in einem Kloster in Paris gab. Ich rief im Kloster an und hatte Francis am Telefon. Francis Lucille, geboren 1944, ist ein in Frankreich geborener spiritueller Lehrer, der f\u00fcr seine tiefgr\u00fcndigen Lehren in der Tradition des Advaita Vedanta bekannt ist. Nachdem er 1964 sein wissenschaftliches Studium in Mathematik und Physik an der renommierten \u00c9cole Polytechnique in Paris abgeschlossen und seine Ausbildung an der ENSAE, der heutigen ISAE-SUPAERO, fortgesetzt hatte, nahm Lucilles intellektuelle Reise eine spirituelle Wendung. 1973 entdeckte er die Werke von Jiddu Krishnamurti und traditionelle Texte der indischen Philosophie, vor allem die des Vedanta und des Zen-Buddhismus. <\/p>\n

1975 vertiefte sich Lucilles spiritueller Weg erheblich, als er Jean Klein traf, einen Guru, der in Indien mit einer Vielzahl spiritueller Traditionen in Ber\u00fchrung gekommen war. Klein wurde Lucille’s spiritueller Meister und Freund bis zu seinem Tod im Jahr 1998. Jean Kleins Lehren, die reich an Einfl\u00fcssen aus dem Kashmir Shaivismus, dem Hatha Yoga und den poetischen und k\u00fcnstlerischen Ausdrucksformen von Rumi und Meister Eckhart waren, haben Lucilles Zugang zur Spiritualit\u00e4t tiefgreifend gepr\u00e4gt. <\/p>\n

Lucilles eigener Unterricht spiegelt eine Mischung aus seinem wissenschaftlichen Hintergrund und seiner tiefen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Nondualismus wider und bezieht Humor, Kunst, Musik und Poesie mit ein. Sein p\u00e4dagogischer Ansatz betont intellektuelle Strenge und eine erfahrungsorientierte Erkundung des K\u00f6rpers und seiner Empfindungen durch Meditation und Yoga, inspiriert von tantrischen und Hatha-Yoga-Traditionen. <\/p>\n

Seit 1981 leitet Lucille Satsangs und spirituelle Retreats zun\u00e4chst in Frankreich und dann international. Zurzeit lebt er in Temecula, Kalifornien, wo er weiterhin Retreats, Webcasts und Dialoge abh\u00e4lt und auf mehreren SAND-Konferenzen als Redner aufgetreten ist.
