Mentre ero con Papaji a Lucknow nel 1993, ho sentito parlare di Christopher che teneva discorsi a Bodhigaya, in India, e alla Bodhi Farm, in Australia. Avrei voluto incontrarlo e l’occasione \u00e8 arrivata a Tiruvannamalai nel 2009. Ha subito accettato un colloquio e, sebbene impegnato con il suo ritiro, mi ha incontrato il giorno successivo. \u00c8 molto inglese, divertente, giocoso e profondo. Titmuss rifiuta le idee rigide di destino o libero arbitrio, vedendo la vita come un processo in evoluzione fuori controllo. Vede il vero maestro come la Verit\u00e0 stessa, non come una persona, e preferisce l’amicizia spirituale alla devozione a una figura. Christopher Titmuss \u00e8 un insegnante spirituale, autore ed ex monaco buddista, nato a Londra nel 1944. Dopo un profondo periodo di ricerca interiore, ha trascorso dieci anni in Asia, sei di quegli anni come monaco in Thailandia e India, studiando a stretto contatto con Ajahn Dhammadharo e Ajahn Buddhadasa. Questi anni hanno plasmato il suo approccio alla libert\u00e0 radicato e basato sull’intuizione.<\/p>

Dagli anni ’70 ha insegnato a livello internazionale, in Europa, Australia e India, guidando i cercatori verso la liberazione attraverso la consapevolezza, l’onesta autoindagine e una vita libera dai clich\u00e9 spirituali. Sostiene quella che chiama la \u201clibert\u00e0 di essere\u201d, uno stato naturale al di l\u00e0 dell\u2019ego, dei concetti e dell\u2019impegno.
