Open Weekend at Open Sky House
18 Years Community! An extraordinary experiment in lived spirituality got to a mature age. The loving and powerful energy field of Open Sky House attracts every year many spiritual seekers, who are moved by:
Who am I?
Last weekend we celebrated together, with Satsang, Mantra Concert, Creative Workshops, Sound Journey, Yoga, Meditation, Heart Dance, Art Exhibition, Film about the Community, delicious food and so many lovely heartful connections .
The weekend started out with Heart Dance – simple, meditative, joyful
Inspired by Sufism it`s a beautiful way to drop out of the mind, into the heart and surrender to the powerful energy of the circle.
In the Energy of Satsang it is easy to connect to our True Self
Many came to the Open Day as they want to make a change in their life. Satsang with John David offered encouragement and inspiration to take new steps, and Guidance to get started. He also encouraged for people to spend time volunteering in Open Sky House to get nourished from the community energy.
Colourful and Touching Workshops
A Space to express and explore our creativity gives us a deep feeling of nourishment. Through Painting, Music, Theater, Dance, we were giving life to something from within ourselves.
Celebrating with Music
The Open Sky Band gave a Concert on Saturday Evening.
By the end everyone was lifted by the energy and danced in ecstatic Joy.

India – the Land of Ancient Spirituality whispers in your soul’s ear and entices into its almost tangible divine presence. Coming to Arunachala Mountain is as if meeting the inner secret, meeting the divine principle which is woven into the fabric of the universe.
We will spend 3 weeks in an Ashram at the foot of the holy mountain exploring who we really are. Daily Satsang with John David, meeting Spiritual Masters, visiting Ramana Ashram and bathing in the energy of Arunachala Mountain.

A shortened and intensified way of a classic Vipassana Course. Spend a whole weekend with yourself, sitting in silence in the supportive energy of a meditating group, the Open Sky House Community and John David who has been guiding people into their hearts and essence for 25 years.

To understand the Miracle of Life, the mind must be very quiet.
In this weekend members of the Community will introduce you to a variety of still and active meditation practices. In Satsang with John David you can ask questions and share your experiences. This gives you the opportunity to find the right practices for you which you can bring into your every day life.
