Going inside

Meditation Weekend

Sixteen people from different countries joined the Meditation Weekend in Denia end of May. All with the intention to give more space in their lives for inner silence, deeper understanding and opening the heart energy. Beginners, as well as advanced meditators, felt deeply touched by the energy which built up over the weekend. Members of the community introduced various silent and active meditation practises and John David was available in meetings for sharing.

Blossoming Construction

Apart from countless repairs and beautification work, the construction team has created two splendid new rooms, each with a stunning view onto the mountain Montgó. An amazing experience to open your eyes in the morning to the striking beauty of nature.

Our first Yurt is under Construction and will soon arrive in Denia. It will be serving us as a Bodywork Heaven and a second Yurt in the Garden as an additional Guesthouse Room.

The Interior of the Villa received some new paint on the doors and ceiling and two new rooms have been finished on Monday.

Turtles and Kois

Our Friends are doing very well in the water. Sometimes one of the Turtles would go on excursion on the property and requires a lift back into the homely pond after hours of adventure.

Vipassana Island in Germany

It seems that during the Pandemic some people appreciated a new quietness and solitude. This lead them to become more open to a deeper meeting with themselves. Spending 40 hours together in silence in the Vipassana Island weekend, many experienced not only a profound meeting with themselves but also a new way of meeting with others beyond the personal.

The strong Silence of the meditating group radiated into all of the Open Sky House. The Community is grateful for these weekends and enjoys lovingly serving the courageous explorers.

A great chance for practical volunteers

Karma Yoga allows us to let go of any idea of the outcome. The energy of the community helps to become fully present with whatever task is demanded in the everyday flow of life. Spring demands much attention to our garden and courtyard. The bees have been busy collecting pollen, so honey pots are always waiting to be filled with sweet golden nectar. Working for the collective good brings contentment and joy. The flow of the day, provides also space for Meditations, Yoga, Heart Dance, Theater, Self-enquiry and Meetings with John David.

My week of helping in the community was incredibly intense, full of laughter, togetherness and silence. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity to work together, meditate and be as I am. Come here to let go, allow and feel the energy 💝🙏

This was my second helper week and I am as enthusiastic as the first time. Difficult to put into words, a deep inner experience despite so much hustle and bustle on the outside.

I feel welcome here, with my intensity, with my joy, with my love and with my pain. But the experience goes even deeper: Here I can let myself fall into what I really am, beyond the personality... into my primordial ground, the source of all being. Thank you🙏

The beginning of the volunteer week was bumpy for me, but then it hit me like a club: There was such a deep touch of beauty and bliss, it was just beautiful. After that, the work went smoothly and I experienced enormous positive energy. My exhaustion was gone. That still has an effect at home.
