Ma Devaki

“When He touched me, the ‘I’ disappeared.
Since then, I live in His fragrance.
Every breath is His Name, every heartbeat is His Will.”

– Ma Devaki

We are happy to announce that the recordings have now been edited and are freely available on Youtube. We hope you find great inspiration in them!

Ma Devaki was in close personal service to Bhagwan Yogi Ramsuratkumar for 7 years from 1993 until His Mahasamadhi in February 2001. Ma Devaki has been serving and staying in the Tiruvannamalai Ashram ever since, continuing Her service for His Divine work.

Biography

Ma Devaki (born January 4, 1952, in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu) was a brilliant physicist and university lecturer who left behind a respected academic life to become the devoted attendant of her spiritual Master, Yogi Ramsuratkumar. After meeting him in 1986 during a pilgrimage to Tiruvannamalai, her life underwent a radical transformation. For seven years, she traveled regularly to see him, enduring any hardship for even a glimpse of his form.

In 1993, she resigned from her post as a senior lecturer in physics and moved permanently to Tiruvannamalai to serve him full-time. Her total surrender, unwavering devotion, and self-effacing service led Yogi Ramsuratkumar to declare her his “Eternal Slave.” He also called her “Ma,” honoring her as the embodiment of the divine feminine.

She cared for him with constant attention until his Mahasamadhi in 2001, and continues to live in his Ashram, upholding a life of spiritual practice, humility, and love. Her quiet presence and radiant devotion are a living example of total surrender and divine servitude.

“He burned all that I was.
And what remains is only a flame
burning with His Name.”

– Ma Devaki

“Sometimes I sit in silence for hours.
Not because I have nothing to say,
But because I feel Him speaking inside my silence.”
