Meetings in Awareness - Back to our Nature

IMG_2616-edit

Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden.

I will meet you there.                         Rumi

In a protected space with a lot of openness to experiment, we explore how we can become more authentic in intimate meetings. For a more heartful, deeper contact, clearer communication and less misunderstandings.

Together we will move into a beautiful flow of touch and warmth of the heart.

We open ourselves gently to each other and discover all facets of feelings: joy, vulnerability, sadness and playfulness. We will dance, celebrate, cuddle, be funny and erotic.

What you will take with you from the weekend:
* Clarity and confidence
* Ability to lovingly communicate your boundaries and desires
* Feeling encouraged and an open heart
* The secrets of mindful touch

Every contact becomes easier when boundaries and wishes are openly expressed.

You don’t need any previous experience.

Mantra

Singing mantras together opens the heart. The loops of thoughts of everyday life become still and a space of silence and connectedness opens up.

Mantras are sacred and healing sounds, syllables, words or phrases that have been chanted for thousands of years and have a profound effect on our energy system. If we turn our attention to the mantra, even if we do not understand the words and the meaning, we feel its power and can be deeply touched by it.

The great spiritual power of chanting mantras is difficult to grasp with the mind, but we can experience it directly while singing.

Everybody is welcome.

Heart Dances - inspired by Sufism

The Universal Heart Dances are inspired by the work of Murshid Samuel Lewis (1896-1971), an American Sufi and Zen Master.

In the late 1960’s, he created over 50 circle dances as a spiritual practise to open the heart and “finding God within through experience”.
The circle dances are simple, meditative, joyful and easy to learn, using sacred chants and movements from many spiritual traditions.

In the Open Sky Community the dances are part of our spiritual practice and remind us that life is nothing but a joyful, energetic dance.

In the recent Winter Retreat John David introduced 4 Variations of the Heart Dances:
