Gajapathi: To everyone who comes here Bhagavan recommends vichara only.
Bhagavan: Vichara is a means to eliminate ignorance, which obnubilates Love from Shining forth, for the nature of the Self is Love Itself. Love cannot be practised as a sadhana. All that is possible is to surrender to it. There is no such thing as inculcation of Love. Love is already there. It, alone IS. All that is needed on your part is to give up thought, which makes you imagine yourself to be apart from Love, and so merge in Love. Then there is only Love, which is bliss beyond imagination.
To one who has discovered the ecstatic joy of volitionless Love, sadhana is a laughable absurdity. Unto those who solicit justifications, we may say that such Love blossoms only in souls which have perfected their sadhanas in previous births.

I am as the fresh breeze of the mountains.
I have no shelter;
I am as the wandering waters.
I have no sanctuary, like the dark gods;
Nor am I in the shadow of deep temples.
I have no sacred books;
Nor am I well-seasoned in tradition.
I am not in the incense burning upon the high altars;
Nor in the pomp of ceremonies.
I am neither in the graven image;
Nor in the rich chant of a melodious voice.
I am not bound by theories;
Nor corrupted by beliefs.
I am not held in the bondage of religions;
Nor in the pious agony of their priests.
I am not entrapped by philosophies;
Nor held in the power of their sects.
I am neither low nor high;
I am the worshipper and the worshipped.

Awareness
Awareness is not a commitment to something. Awareness is an observation, both outer and inner, in which direction has stopped.
You are aware, but the thing of which you are aware is not encouraged or nourished. Awareness is not concentration on something.
Enlightenment is an Illusion
The first thing I would say is that there are not any enlightened people. This word enlightenment is a wrong word. It is like sex or love or god. It is like some idea far away in the future. Maybe it has a value because it can bring people to find themselves, just as the peak of Mount Everest brings people to climb mountains.
An Open Heart Is Beautiful – be a Knower,a Jnani
We all know it’s beautiful when the heart opens and the tears flow, and the love is gushing out. What more could we want at that time? Because when we are in that type of love – which is devotion itself – there’s almost no mind. The mind just disappears in that love and in that devotion, but as one teacher said to me, “And in that place no one wants to enquire.”

Zen Verses on Faith
Sōsan’s Master for six years was Huike whose Master was Bodhidharma who Buddha sent to China.

Huike: Bring your sin here and I will absolve you.

find it.

Beauty
I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but when you’re really, really Quiet, there’s so much Beauty! Everything is beautiful! It was one of those days: today, the ocean was beautiful, the houses were beautiful, the people were beautiful, the weather was beautiful, the paintings were beautiful, the lunch was great. It was just like a flow through Beauty, the whole day.
Our True Nature

Qualifications for Satsang
